Attorney Divina Westerfield of Indianapolis; ethical dwarf

The state of Indiana provided Divina Kay Westerfield with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Indiana University Law School.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Divina guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to abide by client decisions re: objectives of representation
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to explain matter to allow client to make informed decisions re: representation
• Failed to consult with client as to meant by which objectives were to be pursued
• Failed to surrender client property upon being terminated
• Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client interests upon termination

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Divina by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2016), Divina practices with Westerfield & Associates at 133 West Market Street in Indianapolis, Indiana.
