Attorney Paul Stanko of Crown Point, IN; ethical gremlin

The state of Indiana provided Paul David Stanko with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Valparaiso University Law School.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to advise client of adverse Court of Appeal decision
• Negligence led to client being denied to appeal matter to state Supreme Court
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to explain matter to allow client to make informed decisions re: representation
• Failed to promptly deliver settlement check to client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2015) Paulie practices in Crown Point, Indiana.
