Attorney John Budin of Chicago; lying loser

The state of Illinois presented John Joseph Budin with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from DePaul University Law School in Chicago.

The Disciplinary Commission found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected worker’s compensation matter
• Misrepresented (lied) about status of legal matter to client
• Attempted to settle client’s claim against him for legal malpractice w/o advising the client to obtain independent representation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. November 2014), Johnny practices with the Budin Law Offices at 1 North La Salle Street in Chicago, Illinois.
