Attorney Craig Cunningham of Sycamore, IL; greedy liar

The state of Illinois presented Craig Carnell Cunningham with a law license in 1994. He also obtained a law license from Iowa in 1977.

The Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Craig guilty of the following misconduct.

• Converted (stole) $3,000 from a client he represented in a criminal case.
• Found it acceptable to charge a client an unreasonable fee.
• Made misrepresentations (lied) to a tribunal.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Craig by gifting him with a complimentary 5-month suspension of his law license.

Illinois.
