Attorney David Belconis of Barrington, IL; ethical gremlin

The state of Illinois presented David William Belconis with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from DePaul University School of Law.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission Office found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
• Convicted of mail fraud, wire fraud
• Convicted of making false statements in connection with a fraudulent real estate scheme
• Committed a criminal act that reflects adversely on his honesty, trustworthiness, or fitness as a lawyer

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of her law license effective

As we speak (ca. November 2022), Davey practices his so-called brand of law with the Law Office of David Belconis-NW Suburban Law PC at 1250 South Grove Avenue in Barrington, Illinois.
