Attorney Ian Berliner of Chicago, IL; thieving loser

The state of Illinois presented Ian Bennet Berliner with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from Chicago-Kent School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Commission found Ian guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
• Failed to release 50% of escrowed funds amounting to $15,000 to his clients
• Failed to promptly deliver to a client funds that the client is entitled to receive
• Knowingly converted (stole) client escrow funds (thief)
• Knowingly made false statements to his client regarding status of funds owing to the clients
• Made false statements to ethics investigators (Screw you, said Ian!)

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Ian by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. October 2022), Ian practices his so-called brand of law with the Sage Law Group LLC at 35 East Wacker Drive in Chicago, Illinois.
