Attorney David Cutler of Chicago; ethical leprechaun

The state of Illinois presented David Picket Cutler with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to promptly deliver client share of proceeds to client
• Failed to maintain compete records of client trust account
• Failed to promptly notify client of receipt of settlement check
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 5-month suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (July 2016), Dave practices with Cutler & Hall at 70 West Madison Street in Chicago, Illinois.
