Attorney Jeffrey Cotton II of Boise, ID; slacker, loser

The state of Idaho presented Jeffrey Lee Cotton II with a law license in 2013 after he graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law.

The Idaho Bar Counsel found Jeff guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with his client
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest
• Improperly communicated with a person represented by another attorney
• Engaged in romantic relationship with divorce client
• Pled guilty resisting or obstructing officers following his arrest
• Failed to appear for four court hearings on clients behalf in divorce matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Idaho Supreme Court punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.  

As we speak (ca. June 2023), Jeff will resume her so-called brand of law with Cotton Law PLLC at 10400 West Overland Road in Boise, Idaho in early 2025.
