Attorney James Meaney III of Dalton, GA; ethical dwarf

The state of Georgia presented James A. Meany III with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Georgia Law School.

The Georgia State Bar found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to file client’s lawsuit prior to statute of limitations tolling
• Failed to communicate with client
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
