Attorney Arthur Calvin of Miami, FL; ethical misfit

The state of Florida provided presented Arthur Benjamin Calvin with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Law.

The Florida State Bar found Art guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• During his representation of a minor who sustained grievous injuries in an auto accident, Art entered into a settlement agreement prior to a guardianship being opened on behalf of the minor.
• Did not timely comply with a court order and was found in contempt
• Improperly lent money to the minor’s mother due to her financial circumstances

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Art by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (ca. August 2022), Art practices his so-called brand of law at 14629 SW 104^th Street in Miami, Florida.
