Attorney Christopher Tolleson of Conway, AR; thieving slacker

The state of Arkansas presented Christopher A. Tolleson (CAT) with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School.

The Committee on Professional found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to file client’s divorce action after receipt of $680 filing fee
• Failed to respond to numerous client information requests
• Failed to return unused $680 filing fee to client (thief)
• Failed to withdraw representation when required to do so
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to refund unearned fee (thief)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
