Attorney Bruce Tidwell of Little Rock; ethical gremlin

The state of Arkansas presented Bruce B. Tidwell with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University Arkansas at Little Rock Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Bruce guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Waited 4 months before telling client his representation of him would cause a conflict of interest since his partner represented the opposing party
• Accepted and spent $1500 in fees before advising client he couldn’t represent him because of inherent conflict of interest
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to respond to client information requests

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary caution.

As we speak (April 2019), Bruce practices with Eldredge & Clark at 400 West Capitol Avenue in Little Rock, Arkansas.
