The state of Arkansas presented J. F. Valley with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School.

 

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Valley guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Prior to the following misconduct, Valley received one (1) complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct. 

 

Valley’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to notify client of court hearing
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to attend court hearing on client’s behalf

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Valley by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Valley’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to promptly respond to client information requests

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Valley by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.
