Attorney Garfield Bloodman of Little Rock; repeat offender

 

The state of Arkansas presented Garfield W. Bloodman with a law license in 1997.

 

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Garfield guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Garfield’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Caused unnecessary delay in client’s appeal

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Garfield by gifting him with a complimentary caution.

 

Garfield’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit

  • Failed to take necessary steps to protect client interests after being fired
  • Failed to promptly respond to client information requests
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to inform client of any decision or circumstance that required the client’s informed consent
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Garfield by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
