Attorney Lawrence Reger of Fairbanks, AK; slacker, loser

The state of Alaska provided Lawrence F. Reger with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of Alaska School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Larry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Failed to withdraw his representation when required to so act
  • Failed to notify clients of pending proceedings
  • Failed to tell his client that a case had been dismissed due to his failures
  • Failed to return client files upon termination
  • Violated his duties he owed to his clients
  • Failed to properly supervise his employees
  • Failed to properly preserve client funds
  • Failed to account and to return unearned fees promptly
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Improperly shared legal fees with nonlawyer
  • Breached his duties owing to the legal profession
  • Failed to render full accounting of fees received to his client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alaska Supreme Court punished Larry by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license and assessed investigative costs of $1,000.00.

As we speak (ca. November 2023), Larry practices his so-called brand of law with the Reger Law Office PC at 330 Wendell Street in Fairbanks, Alaska.
