Attorney Kenneth Albertsen of Palmer, AK; ethical ogre

The state of Alaska provided Kenneth D. Albertsen with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the University of Alaska School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Kenny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to adequately communicate with clients
  • Caused inconvenience, confusion, stress, and temporary or potentially permanent interference with client legal rights
  • Failed to promptly deliver client funds and to account for said funds
  • Caused financial prejudice to his clients
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Failed to deliver funds owing to client in timely fashion
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Kenney!)
  • Failed to turn over client files upon termination
  • Failed to maintain personal integrity by handling trust funds improperly

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alaska Supreme Court punished Kenny by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license and assessed costs of $1,000.00.

As we speak (ca. July 2021), Kenny practices his so-called brand of law at 833 South Dimond Street in Palmer, Alaska.
