Attorney Maryann Foley of Anchorage; ethical goblin

The state of Alaska presented Maryann E. Foley with a law license in 1981 after she graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Maryann guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators [Screw you, said Maryann!]
• Failed to advise client of status of her case
• Neglected legal matter entrusted to her
• Failed to oppose a motion to modify child custody on client’s behalf

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alaska Supreme Court punished Maryann by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2019), Maryann practices at 750 West 2^nd Avenue in Anchorage, Alaska.
