The Judicial Conduct Investigations Office found Jon guilty of the following misconduct.

• Made improper comments during court proceedings
• Conduct fell below standard expected of member of the judiciary (Really?)
• Failed to demonstrate impartiality
• Stated he would pay the victim surcharge himself if the defendant were forced to pay
