Judge Graeme Mitchell of Saskatchewan, CAN; ethical dwarf

The Law Society of Canada provided Graeme Mitchell with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from Osgoode Hall School of Law

The Canadian Judicial Council found Graeme guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Made a visit to an Indigenous protest camp on the grounds of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building
  • Specifically, after deciding a matter, but before completing his reasons for judgment, Graeme attended the protest camp, posed for photographs, and accepted ceremonial gifts
  • After his publicized visit, Graeme announced his decision not to provide supplementary reasons regarding the judgment he had rendered
  • Graeme’s conduct was inconsistent with the ethical obligations that all judges are sworn to uphold
  • Graeme put himself in a position that was inconsistent with the obligation to remain and appear neutral

As a direct result of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Review Panel decided not to take any action of any kind against Graeme.

In a lame attempt at levity, the Review Panel members laughingly accepted Graeme’s so-called expression of remorse. In truth, these members appear to be Aspiring Standup Comedians.

As we speak (ca. February 2023), Graeme continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence as a Judge of the Majesty’s Court of Queen’s Bench for Saskatchewan in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
