Justice Priscilla Chigumba of Zimbabwe; cheating slacker

The Law Society presented Priscilla Chigumba with a law license in 1994 after she graduated from law school in the United Kingdom.

The Zimbabwe Judicial Service Commission (JSC) along with Chief Justice Godfrey Chidyausiku of the Zimbabwe Supreme Court has charged Justice Chigumba with engaging in the following misconduct.

• Solicited a $20,000 bribe from a party in a case she presided over
• Sent agent to solicit bribe from party in a case Priscilla was presiding over
• Mr. Kanokanga complaint to the JSC about Priscilla’s bribe demand
• Failed to conclude numerous cases in a timely fashion (slacker)

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Priscilla by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission.

As we speak (ca. November 2016) Priscilla continues to sit as a Justice of the High Court in Harare, Zimbabwe.
