► Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO): Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield Comic” Award Winner

Josh is the Right-wing Lunatic and Sycophantic Serial Trump Ass-Kisser who along with his fellow comrade Sen. Ted Cruz led the fight to overturn the election in favor of Donald “Trumporleone” Trump by contesting the results of Joe Biden’s wins in several states.

When the insurrectionists stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021, they were met with a pumped-up fist by Josh as they headed towards the Capitol. And after they broke into the Capitol and let it be known they wanted to murder Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and VP Mike Pence; Josh continued with his sham attempt to overturn the election by objecting to electors for Arizona and Pennsylvania.

Subsequently, Senators Sheldon Whitehouse, Ron Wyden, Tina Smith, Richard Blumenthal, Mazie Hirono, Tim Kaine and Sherrod Brown asked the Senate Ethics Committee to investigate the conduct of Josh and his boyfriend Ted Cruz. The senators offered recommendations to the Ethics Committee to dispense strong disciplinary action, including expulsion or censure if warranted by the facts.

In response to the complaint filed with the Ethics Committee, Josh decided to further establish his bona fides as an Aspiring Standup Comedian. Towards that end, Josh filed a counter ethics complaint against the seven senators for claiming he acted unethically.

In his comedic ethics complaint, Josh made the following laughable statements.

• “The seven senators issued a frivolous complaint to accomplish impermissible partisan purposes." 
• "These Senators have engaged in improper conduct that may reflect upon the Senate.”
• “The Committee should discipline these Members to ensure that the Senate’s ethics process is not weaponized for rank partisan purposes."

Josh continued with his comedy routine by sending a letter to the seven senators that made the following laughable statements.

• "The First Amendment does not ... give you carte blanche to abuse the Senate ethics process.”
• “I have today filed a complaint with the ethics committee that details your deliberate and partisan abuse of this process, including your apparent coordination with various dark money groups, and requests that you be appropriately disciplined.”

If anyone other than Ted Cruz deserves to be punished and rightfully expelled from the Senate, it is Josh Hawley. The only reason he and Cruz supported the lie that the election was stolen and, in the process, gave credence to the insurrection was because of their desire to garner The Great Leader’s followers for a run at the presidency in 2024.

I’m rather hopeful that the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia may find sufficient evidence to criminally charge Josh with acting in concert with the insurrectionists to overthrow the government in an effort to prevent Joe Biden from assuming the office he overwhelmingly won on November 3, 2020.
