During a recent (mid-February 2016) appearance on CNN, comedian Falwell took umbrage at Pope Francis’ criticism of Donald Trump when he stated he wasn’t a real Christian in regards to building a wall along the Mexican border.

 

The Comic laughingly took issue with the Pope’s criticism of his proffered candidate for the presidency, The Donald. The comedian laughingly claimed that religious leaders like the Pope should keep their noses out of politics.

 

Of course the Comic has dedicated his adult life at meddling into politics. In fact, it was his late father Jerry Falwell Sr. who was the creator and chief operating officer of the “Immoral Majority,” I’m sorry I mean “Moral Majority.”

 

According to Jerry any religious leader that doesn’t support The Donald to be our next president must keep his or her mouth shut when it comes to commenting on politics. However, if you’re a degenerate loser and Celebrated Bigot like Jerry, then it’s perfectly acceptable to get involved in the political process.

 

Congrats Jerry; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Standup Comedians”; you are far too humble.
