Judge Rachel Bell of Nashville; moronic slacker

The state of Texas presented Rachel L. Bell with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of Memphis Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Judicial Conduct is investigating Rachel for engaging in the following misconduct. However, the diabetes has not prevented her from collecting a taxpayer funded check for the 8 to 10 hours of work she misses each week.

  • Left 4 people in jail beyond 10-day hearing deadline
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to hold preliminary hearing within 24 days as law requires
  • Failed to show up for work in court until 11:00 am
  • Allowed personal activities to interfere with judicial duties
  • Failed to handle and decide cases promptly

Rachel’s Hyperbolic (BS) Defense

In defense of her failure to show up for work on time, Rachel laughingly claims that her diabetes is to blame for her being at least 1 to 2 hours late to work each and every day. However, the diabetes doesn’t appear to prevent her from collecting a taxpayer funded check for failing to work 8 to 10 hours a week.

Since Rachel is paid an annual salary of $170,800, her daily pay is $657 and her hourly rate is $84.00. Therefore, on a weekly basis she is being paid about $840 for not working. Over the course of one year, she would receive almost $44,000 in income for work she never performed.

All that’s left now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Rachel by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. May 2016), Rachel continues to sit as General Sessions Court judge in Nashville, Tennessee.
