Judge Marybeth Dingledy of Everett, WA; drunken convict

The state of South Carolina presented Marybeth Dingledy with a law license in 1995 after she graduated from the University of William & Mary Law School.

Former Gov. Christine Gregoire was duped into appointing Marybeth to a seat on the Snohomish County Superior Court in 2005. Marybeth didn’t get the appointment because she was the most qualified lawyer in the greater Everett area. She got it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

The Washington State Judicial Commission found Marybeth guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Marybeth pled guilty to driving under the influence (DUI). Marybeth’s blood-alcohol level tested at 0.122 and 0.115 at the time of her arrest. It is illegal to drive with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 or greater.

Marybeth’s drunken escapade ended up causing an accident. Luckily no one was injured.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Marybeth by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2018), Marybeth continues to sit as an Snohomish County Superior Court judge (when sober) in Everett, Washington.
