Judge Douglas Federspiel of Yakima, WA; serial scofflaw   

The state of Washington provided Douglas Federspiel with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the University of Washington Law School.

The Washington Commission on Judicial Conduct found Doug guilty of the following misconduct.

• Illegally solicited endorsements of judicial campaign from subordinate court and county employees in a non-public are of the Yakima County Juvenile Justice Center during work hours
• Abused his judicial position for personal gain
• Knowingly misused court facilities and resources
• Failed to comply with the law
• Failed to act to promote public confidence in the judiciary

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Doug by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2017), Doug continues to sit as an Yakima County Superior Court Judge in Yakima, Washington.
