Attorney Robert Dunphy of Ithaca, NY; serial offender  

The state of Tennessee provided Robert Emmett Dunphy with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School. Bobby also received a license from New York in 2002 and Hawaii in 1980.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

Bobby’s 1^stbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

• Neglected two legal matters entrusted to him
• Failed to communicate with clients
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Bobby!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

Bobby’s 2^ndbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

• Failed to communicate with clients
• Failed to advise client of status of her case
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Bobby!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with another complimentary censure.

Bobby’s 3^rdbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

• Neglected a client’s Social Security disability claim
• Failed to communicate with client for many months
• Failed to return client’s file as requested

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with yet another complimentary censure.
