Attorney Jeffrey Vigar of South Australia; drunken loser  

The Law Society presented Jeffrey David Vigar with a law license in 1979.

The Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunalfound Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

During the morning hours and while he was in the vicinity of the Naracoorte Magistrates Court, Jeff consumed alcohol to the extent that he was intoxicated and unable to represent his clients or advance their interests before the court.

At about noon on another occasion, and while in the vicinity of the courtroom, Jeff was so affected by alcohol that he was unable to stand without assistance. Shortly thereafter, Magistrate Fahey prohibited Jeff from entering the courtroom. The magistrate then ordered the Sheriff’s Officer to drive Jeff home.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunalpunished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and a $3,000 fine.

As we speak (ca. February 2015), Jeff continues to practice in the South Australia area.
