Attorney Herman Crisler III of Memphis; ethical gremlin

The state of Tennessee provided Herman Andrew Crisler III with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of Memphis Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Herman guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to notify clients of temporary suspension
  • Was not cooperative in return files to clients
  • Failed to communicate with clients
  • Failed to respond to ethics complaints (Up yours, said Herman!)
  • Failed to address the issue of making restitution to clients (victims)
  • Had an indifferent attitude in notifying clients his license was suspended

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Herman by gifting him with a complimentary 8-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Herman practices at 5660 Mount Moriah in Memphis, Tennessee.
