Judge Patrick Connolly of Los Angeles: potty mouth repeater

The state of California presented Patrick Emmet Connolly with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from the University of San Diego Law School.

The California Commission on Judicial Performance found Patty guilty of the following misconduct.

Patty’s 1^st bite at the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree

• Repeatedly used profanity during interview by reporter
• Used profanity with counsel in chambers
• Cursed like a sailor
• Used considerable profanity during exchange with assistant DA

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Patty by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

Patty’s 2^nd bite at the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree

• Repeatedly abused his judicial authority
• Engaged in threatening conduct towards criminal defense attorney
• Failed to respect and comply with the law
• Failed to perform judicial duties w/o bias or prejudice
• Failed to refrain from speech perceived as biased
• Engaged in illegal ex parte (one-sided) communications
• Failed to maintain high standards of conduct
• Gave appearance of improperly conducting personal investigation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Patty by gifting him with a second complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. April 2016) Patty continues to sit as a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge in Los Angeles, California.
