Attorney Kristin Brassard of Fitchburg, MA; ethical misfit

The state of Massachusetts presented Kristin A. Brassard with a law license in 2010.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Kristin guilty of the following misconduct.

• Caused unnecessary delays in filing of client’s bankruptcy petition
• Failed to refund unearned fees until after client (victim) filed ethics complaint
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Kristin!)
  Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to respond to repeated requests from Clerk of Court

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Kristin by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 3-month suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Kristin. 

As we speak (ca. March 2015) Kristin practices with the Law Office of Kristin A. Brassard at 854 Main Street in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
