Attorney Tonya Van Walleghem of Portland, OR; lying loser

The state of Oregon provided Tonya M. Van Walleghem with a law license in 1998 after she graduated from Willamette University Law School.

The Oregon State Bar found Tonya guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Tonya completed and signed an application to be a member of the Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC) in Portland, Oregon. The application was for a family membership, which granted MAC benefits to all members of a family. The initiation fee for a family membership was $9,000.

In her application, Tonya represented that she was married, and listed her spouse’s name. As required by the application, the Accused attached a copy of a 1991 Canadian marriage certificate.

At the time Tonya made the claims about being married she absolutely knew that it was false because she had obtained a dissolution of her marriage in Oregon three years prior to submitting the sham application.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Tonya by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Tonya practices in the Portland, Oregon area.
