Attorney Nick Wimmershoff of Boulder; ethical gremlin
The state of Colorado presented Nick Wimmershoff with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Willamette University of Law School.
Disciplinary Counsel found Nick guilty of the following misconduct.
- Commingled client funds with personal funds
- Caused an overdraft (rubber check)
- Negligently converted portion of client funds
- Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
- Failed to keep adequate trust account records
- Attempted to improperly influence testimony of former associate after she contacted disciplinary authorities
- Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Nick by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak, (ca. January 2015), Nick practices with the Law Office of Nick Wimmershoff at 4747 Franklin Drive in Boulder, Colorado.
Warning: Nick does not carry legal malpractice insurance
