Attorney Austin Nimocks: Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Attorney Austin Nimocks

Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner

Unfortunately, the state of Mississippi provided Austin R. Nimocks with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Baylor University Law School.

Austin is a well recognized bigot who is associated with the homophobic group, Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF). ADF and Austin have repeatedly called for making gay sex a criminal offense.

During a recent (12/23/14) interview with comedian Josh Duggar on Washington Watch, the discussion revolved around a prior legal case wherein a Washington florist was found to have violated Washington State’s Consumer Protection Act by denying service to a same-sex couple.

Austin the Bigot went on to laughingly argue that gay right advocates were planning to throw their opponents (homophobes) in jail. Austin went on to say:

  • “The persecution is only going to ramp up and it’s going to become more fierce.”
  • “We [homophobes] appreciate so many of those who are willing to stand for marriage in the face of brutal opposition and public excoriation.”
  • “I don’t think we’re far away from a day where we might see somebody being persecuted to the point of being put in jail for standing for marriage.”

It is obvious that Austin learned early on after graduating from Baylor how difficult it would be to earn a dishonest living practicing law in the Biloxi area. That is likely the reason that Austin has dedicated his career to feigning hatred of the gay community. Put simply, Austin discovered that he could make a decent living relying on contributions from bigoted homophobes.

As we speak (ca. January 2015), Austin practices his brand of law with Austin R. Nimocks & Associates PLLC at 175 Main Street in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Congrats Austin; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Bigots”; you are far too humble.
