Attorney Jay Wilhite of Navasota, TX; ethical dwarf

The state of Texas presented Jay T. Wilhite with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from South Texas University Law School.

The District 4-A Grievance Committee found Jay guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected child custody matter entrusted to him
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Neglected client’s decisions concerning objectives and methods of representation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Jay by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year stayed suspension of his law license.

In truth the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jay.
