Attorney Alvin Brown of New York City; ethical gremlin

The DC Bar presented Alvin Saul Brown with a law license in 1979. Alvin was also provided with a law license from the state of New York in 1980.

The DC Bar Counsel found Alvin guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed about status of legal matter
• Failed to comply with client requests for information
• Failed to communicate rate or basis of fee in writing as required

As a consequence of him misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Bar Counsel punished Alvin by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. January 2015), Alvin practices with Alvin Brown & Associates at 575 Madison Avenue, New York, New York.
