Attorney Alexander Gambrel of Belgrade, MT; repeat offender
The state of Washington presented Alexander William Gambrel with a law license in 1994.
The Washington State Bar found Alex guilty of the following misconduct.
Alex’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree - 2012
- Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
- Failed to communicate with client
- Failed to expedite litigation
- Failed to decline or terminate representation when required
- Failed to return file to client upon request
- Failed to respond to ethics complaint (Up yours, said Alex!)
- Engaged in a pattern of neglect
- Failed to explain matter to extent necessary to afford client to make informed decisions as to representation
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington State Supreme Court punished Alex by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

- Failed to safeguard client property
- Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
- Failed to keep clients informed of status of their legal matters
- Failed to respond to clients’ requests for information
- Failed to communicate with client
- Failed to decline or terminate representation when required
- Failed to communicate basis or rate of his fee
- Failed to expedite litigation
- Failed to inform clients of status of his handling of their funds
- Failed to deposit advance fees into trust account as request
- Failed to promptly refund money clients entitled to receive
- Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Alex!)
- Commingled client funds with personal funds
- Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client interests when fired
