Attorney Edward Nesbitt of Tucson; repeat offender

The state of Arizona presented Edward C. Nesbitt with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Eddy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Repeatedly ignored orders from Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals
  • Failed to take appropriate steps to preserve client’s rights
  • Failed to properly represent client in appellate matter
  • Failed to follow-up with client re: further representation

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Eddy’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Eddy by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. November 2014) Eddy practices at 177 North Church Avenue in Tucson, Arizona.
