Attorney Christopher Causey of Portland, ME; ethical elf

The state of Maine presented Christopher R. Causey with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from Lewis & Clark College of Law. 

The Maine Board of Overseers of the found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Improperly negotiated for a job with attorney for party by mediator
• Misconduct resulted in significant financial harm and emotional distress to client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2014) Alex practices with the Law Offices of Christopher R. Causey at 75 Pearl Street in Portland, Maine.
