Attorney Andrew Broaddus of Westbrook, ME; ethical elf

The state of Maine presented Andrew L. Broaddus with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Maine Law School.

The Maine Board of Overseers of the Bar found Andy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to comply with ethical duties owed to client
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Entered into an improper business transaction with client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary warning.

As we speak (ca. November 2014) Andy practices at 706 Main Street in Westbrook, Maine.
