Attorney Steven Wilson of Saskatchewan; repeat offender

The Law Society of Saskatchewan presented William T. Johnston with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from the University of Saskatchewan Law School.

The Law Society of Saskatchewan found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to serve client in conscientious manner
  • Engaged in conduct unbecoming an officer of the court
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to inform client of pending court dates
  • Offered to reduce fee if client agreed to not file ethics complaint

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Stevie’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously disciplined on two (2) separate occasions for engaging in a variety of misconduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society of Saskatchewan Committee punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and fined $2,250.

As we speak (ca. October 2014), Stevie practices at 2120 York Avenue in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
