Attorney Christopher Conkle of Mexico; ethical goblin

The state of California provided Christopher Brian Conkle with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Loyola University School of Law.

The California State Bar Court found Frankie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Misconduct evidences multiple acts of wrongdoing
  • Commingled personal funds with client funds
  • Willfully violated former Rules of Professional Conduct
  • Failed to render an appropriate and complete accounting to the client
  • Failed to account for funds totaling $357,587.31
  • Court found Chris’s accounting insufficient and required further documentation which he failed to provide

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2023), Chris practices at Huauchinango 54-3, San Jeronimo Aculco, Distrito Federal in Mexico.
