Judge Tracy Sheehan of Plant City, FL; convicted drunk

The state of Florida presented Tracy Sheehan with a law license in 1989 after she graduated from Stetson University Law School.

Tracy has had her significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the last twenty (20) years.

The Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission found Tracy guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Tracy pleaded guilty to driving under the influence (DUI) after being arrested on a drunk driving charge in Tampa. She was later sentenced to 50 hours of community services and one year of probation.

The arresting officer’s report states that Tracy was stopped on the night of July 5 after she left an Ybor City parking garage. The officer stated he saw her car drift across lanes shortly after 11 p.m.

After she stopped her car on Channelside Drive and Twiggs Street, the arresting officer smelled alcohol and noticed that Tracy’s eyes were bloodshot and that her speech was slurred.

Tracy’s blood-alcohol level was recorded at 0.171 at the Hillsborough County Jail. Florida law presumes drunkenness when the level is 0.08 or higher.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Tracy the Drunk by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2014), Tracy remains sitting as a Hillsborough County Judge (when sober) in Plant City, Florida.
