Attorney Derek Ball of Mississauga, CAN; lying repeater

 

The Law Society of Canada presented Derek Gordon Ball with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of New Brunswick Law School.

 

The Law Society of Upper Canada found Derek guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Derek’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

  • Failed to properly serve clients interests
  • Mislead (lied) to client about obtaining court order
  • Lied to client that he had obtained $800 in support arrearages on her behalf
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee of Inquiry punished Derek by gifting him with a complimentary 1-month suspension of his law license.

 

Derek’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

  • Misled (lied) to client re: status of litigation
  • Failed to serve the best interests of client
  • Failed to provide answers to undertakings provided by client
  • Failed to set client’s actions down for trial
  • Faield to tell client her case was dismissed with costs

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee of Inquiry punished Derek by gifting him with a complimentary 2-month suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. October 2014), Derek practices at 203-3040 Palstan Road in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
