The Law Society of Canada presented John Ronald Cherkewich with a law license in 1970

after he graduated from the University of Saskatchewan Law School.

The Law Society of Canada found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct

• Conducted himself in a rude and provocative manner
• Engaged in conduct unbecoming a lawyer
• Displayed disrespect for an adjudicator presiding over an Indian Residential School Independent Assessment proceeding
• Conduct re: retainer agreement breached all reasonable standards of courtesy, good faith and civility

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
