The Law Society of Canada found Dale guilty of the following misconduct
 
  • Wrote letters to a lawyer that were abusive and offensive
  • Offered to forgo civil suit against client if she withdrew ethics complaint
  • Engaged in conduct unbecoming a lawyer
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished Dale by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
