Attorney Billy Mathis Jr. of Albany, GA; ethical misfit

The state of Georgia presented Billy C. Mathis Jr. with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from Woodrow Wilson Law School. 

The State Bar of Georgia found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest
• Failed to obtain written consent from client re: conflict of interest

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2014) Billy practices with Mathis Law at 412-A North Westover Blvd in Albany, Georgia.
