Solicitor David Symington of East Lothian, Scotland; ethical leprechaun

The Law Society presented David Alexander Symington with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School. 

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to protect the interests of his clients
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to advise client of consequences of investing money in partnership
• Failed to cooperate with Law Society investigators (Up Yours, said Dave!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2014), Dave practices on Duns Road, Gifford, East Lothian, Scotland.
