Solicitor Catriona MacFarlane of Glasgow, Scotland; ethical gremlin

The Law Society presented Catriona Margaret MacFarlane with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School. 

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Catriona guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to disclose extent of knowledge of her husband’s dealings
• Failed to timely advise client to seek separate independent advise
• Failed withdraw from acting for client when withdrawal was required
• Engaged in a conflict of interest

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Annaline by gifting her with a complimentary $4,500 fine.

As we speak (ca. December 2014), Catriona practices in Newton Mearns, Glasgow, Scotland.
