The state of Colorado presented Linda Sue Smollen with a law license in 1983.

Disciplinary Counsel found Linda guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to respond to two key motions in child support matter
• Knowingly failed to protect client’s interest
• Ignored subsequent counsel’s request to stipulate to substitution of counsel
• Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Linda by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak, (ca. September 2014), Linda practices with Linda Sue Smollen LLC at 3223 4^th Street in Boulder, Colorado.
