Attorney Joy Carnahan of Colorado Springs; convicted felon

The state of Colorado presented Joy L. Carnahan with a law license in 1991 after she graduated from Willamette University of Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Joy guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Joy pleaded guilty to a charge of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud or deceit, a class C felony.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Joy by gifting her with a complimentary 4-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak, (ca. September 2014), Joy practices with Anderson & Associates at 2 North Cascade Avenue in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
